Good Show: No Ordinary Family

ABC network's new hit series No Ordinary Family has giving me hope becoming the revival of a classic family show that networks like NBC,ABC,& CBS were built on. It is not your ordinary "wishy washy" everybody loves everybody type of fantasy hallucination. It is about a dysfunctional family of a man with his wife and two children who obtain super powers during a plane crash. The super powers actually become the force behind the family's improvement on mending their relationships towards each other.  It appears Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on the ABC television network.

Good Dish: Miso Salmon

As we all know we can't live without food and the only thing better than food is good food. Miso Salmon is an exquisite dish made up of cooked meaty salmon mixed with miso which is a special Japanese seasoning. Miso salmon also comes with white rice and spinach giving it an even more nice taste. This dish has become one of the greatest foods I have tasted in all my life. The Miso Salmon is is served at any Cheescake Factory Resteraunt.

Good Dish: Tappas

One of the most exquisite dishes that I had the pleasure of tasting this past week is Tappas.  Tappas is a mixed cuisine of Spanish food integrated into one plate. One of the components is rice, beans, pepper, orange chicken, juicy shrimp, and spinach on top of a big tortilla. I highly recommend you go to everyone to go to Tapas Restaurant and Tapas Bar on 268 Newbury St. in Boston, MA. There is surely nothing like real good food during the day!

Good Book: The Business of Media

We use media everyday in our lives. The television shows we watch, the products we use, and the influences that affect us mostly come from media. The Business of Media (Corporate Media and the Public Interest) By David Croteau & William Hoynes gives readers good insight on what goes on between the media and the audience. It has been one of the most prominent books I have read in a while I highly recommend it.

Resistance Bands

Healthiness and having a nice body has become essential in modern society. Let's face it we mostly slack on it because there is not enough time for it with important activities such as working, going to school, taking care of the children and etc.  I have found the resistance bands to be very helpful in maintain a healthy body. Resistance is one of the most effective ways to gaining muscle and staying fit. The best time to use it is at home when you have that little time to work out your body. Most importantly it is not expensive at all.

Good Show: Vampire Diaries

In a world where police investigative shows such as NCIS and Law & Order is at it's pinnacle and reality shows control the airwaves I can't seem to find a show that can bring me back to supernaturalistic fantasies or expanding my imagination. Well not all hope is lost when I seen Vampire Diaries. This super fantasy-horror show is about a tragic yet suspensful love triangle between one woman and two vampire brothers. Despite their love for this one girl they team up together to battle forces of evil vampires, werewolves, and a manipulative doppleganger that threaten to destroy the society of Mystic Falls. I know some people may think it's another supernatural show imitating "Twilight" but it's far from that. It appears on the CW  television network at 8 p.m. eastern time every thursday.

Welcome!

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog entitled Common Goods. I created this blog for people to find reviews, recommendations, and opinions on certain good products with low prices, television shows, and encouraging words of wisdom. I believe that when people hear from others opinions and thoughts about certain things they take their credibility into more consideration than a company trying to sell you products. This blog is here to be informative and open to any criticism or opinions about the blog because it's the people that count at the end of the day. Thank you everyone and may you find this very useful.
